Do you verify if a member is employed as a Police Officers, Correctional Officers, Firefighters, EMT or Military Official?
No, we do not verify if a member is actually a Police Officer, Firefighter, etc. due to confidentially between the member and their employer. Please do not assume that a member is truly employed in the above field due to the fact that it is listed in their profile.
Is "TheBadge.org" safe?
Safety is our number one concern. Please visit our "Dating Tips" page prior to meeting with any of our members.
How do I resign/cancel my membership?
To cancel your account, simply follow the simple instructions below:
  1. Log into your account.
  2. Click on the "My Account" link on the upper right side of the page.
  3. Click on the "Unregister" link.
How do I cancel subscription payments for The Badge through Paypal?
To cancel your account, simply follow the simple instructions below:
  1. Log into your Paypal account.
  2. Click on the "My Account" tab.
  3. Locate the transaction in the list of payments made/received by you.
  4. Click on the details link.
  5. Click "cancel subscription".
*Remember, you are the only one that can cancel the subscription payment. We do not have access to your Paypal account. Paypal is only a merchant we utilize.
How do I upgrade my membership so that I have access to all of the features on the website?
To upgrade your membership, simply follow the simple instructions below:
  1. Log into your account.
  2. Click on the "My Account" link on the upper right corner of the page.
  3. Click the "My Membership" button.
What types of payment are accepted?
We accept Visa, American Express, MasterCard, and Discover, as well as debit cards imprinted with the Visa or MasterCard logo. Paypal is our merchant provider. You do not have to be a member of Paypal to utilize its services.
Will my credit card be billed month after month?
Yes, you are billed on a monthly basis until you cancel the subscription payment within your Paypal account.

  1. Make sure you are logged into your account on The Badge.
  2. Simply click on the "My Account" link in your Member Menu.
  3. Click on the "My Settings" link.
  4. Enter the desired HTML code in the box that says "My Space Code".
  5. If you do not know HTML or CSS, you can reach out and make a new friend by asking someone who has color, graphics, and/or sound on their Profile page how they did it. People on The Badge are friendly and always willing to help, so just ask! This is a great way to meet new people!
I forgot my password. How do I retrieve it?
To block a member from contacting you in the future, simply follow the simple instructions below:
  1. Simply click on the "Member Login" link on our homepage.
